VISION
The vision of CAM PPO of America, Inc. is to endow individual empowerment through
expanded choices for complementary and alternative medical care. Joining CAM PPO
means joining a growing, nationwide provider network of specialists dedicated to
building the availability of CAM treatments.
OPPORTUNITY
Currently CAM PPO of America, Inc. brings CAM wellness and healthcare services to
more than 25,000 Parker Hannifin employees across the U.S., with plans to expand
to accommodate Parker’s global locations. Including dependents, this plan
is available to more than 60,000 people in the U.S. By guiding and encouraging the
use of available services through CAM PPO, the benefit plan creates an unprecedented
level of coverage for alternative medicine. We also aim to make this distinctive
network available to other companies, creating even more growth opportunities for
participating providers.
As a provider, it is well worth noting the correlation between expanded coverage
and the increased awareness and use of CAM services, which has been supported in
several recent studies. The substantial company coverage of 80% company coverage
and prompt payments to Network practitioners, CAM PPO aims to benefit members and
Network providers in the promotion of good health.
PROFESSIONAL INTEGRITY
Medical Director, Dr. Laura DeVincentis is a licensed N.D. and Acupuncturist (NCNM,
2001), who continues an active acupuncture practice in Ohio. Dr. DeVincentis maintains
keen attention to the quality standards of the Network amidst the multiple transformations
facing CAM practitioners. As interest in CAM services grow, including noticeable
interest in exploring methods of integration with conventional medicine, her leadership
and oversight keeps the distinctive character of CAM at the core of Network expansions.
Dr. DeVincentis’ dedication to CAM PPO of America, Inc. is driven by her passionate
commitment to the CAM paradigm.
ADMINISTRATIVE ACCESS, EASE, AND SUPPORT
Some CAM specialists may be as new to PPO practices as some of our members are to
the treatment approaches. That is why we make available, online or through personal
attention, the services and tools you need to assist patients with CAM PPO coverage.
CAM PPO of America, Inc. seeks to grow the scope of reimbursement for CAM services
without compromising the personal touches or paradigmatic differences in CAM approaches
to treatment and individualized care. In fact, we recognize and value that those
differences are what makes CAM exceptional, and in many cases, desirable to patients.
CAM PPO also welcomes provider feedback and suggestions, and we encourage providers
to tell us about their successes and challenges. We invite provider feedback on
any topic, and track concerns so we can respond to trends within the Network as
needed. Network providers have 24 hour access to forms and information online*.
We also encourage network providers to promote new books or articles through our
ever expanding “Education” pages by suggesting it as a resource for
members.
