CAM PPO of America, Inc. to Attend AANP-AHMA Conference in August, 2008
This year, CAM PPO of America, Inc. takes to the road, making an inaugural trip to a national conference for practitioners. Reaching thousands of prospective providers, network representatives will be available to respond to questions and meet with current providers. With a nationwide panel of credentialed providers, CAM PPO of America, Inc. will be joining the vendors at the August 2008 joint conference between the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and The American Holistic Medicine Association (AHMA). The 2008 conference marks the first collaboration for these two professional organizations.
The AANP, founded in 1985, represents the largest professional association for licensed and licensable Naturopathic physicians. License eligible naturopaths include graduates from four year residential graduate programs that have been accredited (or hold candidate status) from an agency of the U.S. Department of Education. With 38 state affiliate groups across the U.S., the AANP boasts more than 2,000 members.
This year the AHMA celebrates its 30th anniversary with a relocation to Ohio and the election of a new Executive Director, Donna Nowak. The AHMA serves as an advocacy group for professionals with a range of practices in the field of holistic medicine. Licensed practitioners in the AHMA embrace a diversity of integrative, complementary, and alternative practices.
CAM PPO of America, Inc. is enthusiastic about engaging with these organizations, and in support of the event, has extended a convention sponsorship. The dynamic network plans to continue growing its provider panel to meet the needs of members across the nation, with preparations for additional conference participation in the works.
